Formed in late 2012, SCA UNSW is a Student Action Group lead by passionate, dedicated individuals who aim to raise awareness and support for disadvantaged children all over the world. Save the Children is one of Australia’s largest aid and development agencies dedicated to helping children and has programs in 29 countries worldwide including Australia. We work closely with Save the Children Australia to bring students from all backgrounds, disciplines and experiences, together and united in a global vision for creating better lives for children worldwide.
Throughout the academic year at UNSW, we run a variety of fundraising, social and sporting events on campus. We aim to get the ball rolling at university level in educating our fellow classmates on children in crisis around the world. We hope that people resonate with our mission of promoting a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. Save the Children Australia has been able to lend a hand in the growth and development of millions of children around the world and we, SCA UNSW are excited to play our part in this bigger picture.
